3D Black Bear Research Model
A creative, integrated research project, classroom decoration and 3D model all rolled into one Cute Black Bear Activity. Your kiddos will be delighted on work on this creative research and 3D Bear Model. This is not your average research project!

However, I strongly recommend teaching and creating each part individually, then putting the whole creation together. With my Kindergartens, I do one step at a time. I like to use shorter teaching sessions so that these cuties do not become an overwhelming project. Now that my Kindergarten have created many lanterns, they are experts and do not need as detailed step by step instructions. Once completed they love making the bunnies hop all around the room. I often have my kiddos create stories about their bunnies.

Adding on each Heart will take an additional 45 to 60 minute block of time. I normally read an Earth storybook for my Kiddos. We create one heart for each Earth related book, writing and drawing one element that is important. I use this Earth Day project as the center piece for my Environmental Education for Earth Day.
